DENNIS L. SCHRADER received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from West Virginia University. Mr. Schrader is a past President of the Delaware State and Sussex County Bar Associations and has held a number of other offices in those associations. Mr. Schrader has also served in the American Bar Association House of Delegates and as a member of the Delaware Judicial
Nominating Commission, the Board on Professional
Responsibility, the Delaware State Public Integrity
Commission, and the Delaware Courts Planning
Committee; has been a member of the boards of the
Delaware Bar Foundation and Community Legal Aid
Society, Inc. and served as a Trustee of the Lawyers
Fund for Client Protection. Mr. Schrader served as
the Chairman of the Supreme Court’s Permanent
Advisory Committee on the Rules of Professional Conduct. He is currently a member of the Board of Bar Examiners.

In 2001, Mr. Schrader was awarded the Andrew D. Christie Award by the Delaware Supreme Court for outstanding pro bono publico service and in 2009 he was recipient of the Terry – Carey Inns of Court award for professionalism. He has been recognized by Delaware Today magazine as one of Delaware’s ‘Top Lawyers’.
A former Sussex County Attorney, Mr. Schrader represents several towns and has served as a faculty member in seminars relating to land use and other municipal legal issues.
